Gifts of personal property: Gifts of clothing, furniture and household items for use in programs; holiday gifts and gift cards for service recipients; groceries and cleaning supplies; as well as items for use in the agency auction help support Community Care Services and provide significant tax benefits to you.
Real Estate or Other Capital Assets: Personal residences, vacation homes and commercial property can be suitable to the agency’s needs and provide tax benefits to the donor. A gift of real estate or other capital assets (stock in closely-held companies, oil or mineral rights, works of art, jewelry, books, and so forth) can be sold for the immediate benefit of Community Care Services or, in certain circumstances, given to the agency for future sale.
