There two very important events for the Agency coming up in the near future. First, there is the Annual Gala, “A Night for Caring.” This is a fundraiser for the benefit of the entire Agency. This event will be held on Saturday, May 1st at 6:00 p.m. at The Skyroom in New Bedford, MA. Our Guest of Honor will be U.S. Congressman Barney Frank. Join us in cheers and the sampling of an incredible array of culinary masterpieces. The evening’s festivities will also include a silent auction and the presentation of the Community Care Services’ Heart of the Community award.

The second event is the 4th Annual Walk for Kids. This is a 5K walk which will raise funds to provide resources and support to improve the self-esteem of the children we work with and assist them in becoming a vital and valuable part of our communities. One hundred percent of the profits from our walk will be utilized to provide specific unmet needs to “kids in care” throughout our programs. Please consider helping us by participating in the Walk, creating a team or making a cash donation. This event will take place rain or shine on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Buttonwood Park, New Bedford, MA.
